Care instruction
Care
Naja Lynge Wearable Objects are handwoven in glass beads and made in small editions. Each piece is made by hand. Small variations in tension, finish and detail may occur and are part of the making process.
They are made to be worn, but should be handled with care.
Wear
Put the object on after perfume, lotion, oil, sunscreen and hairspray.
Avoid wearing it in water, in the shower, while swimming, sleeping or doing heavy physical activity.
Avoid pressure, sharp bending and pulling. The beadwork is strong in its own structure, but it is still handwoven.
Clean
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear.
For small marks, use a slightly damp cloth and let the piece dry completely before storing it.
Do not soak, scrub or use chemicals, alcohol, silver dip, ultrasonic cleaning or polishing compounds on the beadwork.
Store
Store the object separately, preferably in its box or pouch.
Keep it dry and away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
Avoid storing it loose with other jewellery, as glass beads and metal parts can scratch or be scratched.
Metal parts
Metal parts may change slightly with time and wear. This is natural.
Avoid perfume, chlorine, salt water and cleaning products. If the piece has silver parts, use only a soft silver cloth on the metal — not on the beadwork.
Repairs
If a thread breaks, a clasp loosens or the piece needs adjustment, do not try to repair it yourself.
