A handwoven cuff composed of 2,800 Japanese glass beads.
The title refers to a mountain motif identified in my mother’s kalaallisuut, her Greenlandic national dress, in the avittat sealskin embroidery made by my mother’s aunt, Atsa Rosa, more than 100 years ago.
The blue and white palette isolates and clarifies the mountain motif.
